Every page contains two traditional banners, one button and one skyscraper. The homepage is the exception in that no skyscraper appears there.

Traditional banners (468 x 60) appear at the top and the bottom of each page. In articles, the bottom banner appears just above the discussion board attached to the end of each article.

Skyscrapers (120 x 600) appear at the side of the Lounge, Technical articles, Tables of Contents pages and miscellaneous pages such as the discussion boards

Buttons (120 x 60) are displayed near the top of some pages on the right hand side, or at the bottom of articles just above the discussion boards. The button placement is designed to work effectively with the overall layout of BlueIT and will be highly visible to all readers. The homepage contains Premium Button placements at the top left which are reserved for Premium Sponsors. Buttons on other pages are open to all advertisers.

Our advertising system allows banners to be displayed evenly over the length of the advertising campaign. Banners can be targeted by category (for example, C++ or ASP.NET) or by country.

Each advertiser will be given a username and password to log into our system in order to track the effectiveness of their ad campaigns 24/7..

Once a month we send out an email dedicated solely to a single advertiser. The email content is up to the advertiser (subject to editorial approval) and provides a more direct way of showcasing and explaining your product or service to our readers.
Spacing is limited in these emails so please book early.

Our Showcase section contains in-depth articles on our advertisers products and Services. Showcase articles follow the same basic format of regular BlueIT articles and can contain trackable links, downloads, images and as much content as you feel is necessary. Our readers like content, not fluff, so the more technical and informative the better.
Discussion boards can be attached to the end of each article to allow more direct contact with our readers.
All current advertorials will be listed in rotation on the homepage. At any one time 5 advertorials will be listed, with the list changing roughly every 10 minutes.
